Élisabeth Berge développe son univers créatif entre les territoires non cédés de la ville de Montréal, de la région de Lanaudière et celle des Cantons-de-l’Est, au Québec. Sa récente exposition Rue Prince au Jérôme Bertrand Studio, alliant photographies argentiques, installation, croquis et textes, miroite son parcours éclectique à cheval entre le domaine des arts, de la spiritualité et de l’éducation. Elle obtient un baccalauréat en études théâtrales et un diplôme de microprogramme du 2e cycle du département d’éducation, portant sur la pleine conscience, tous deux obtenus à l’Université du Québec à Montréal, à Montréal. Ses principales investigations créatives, portées principalement par la voix, l’écriture, le dessin et la photographie argentique, s’interrogent essentiellement sur l'angoisse ; l'éphémère en corrélation avec la construction de soi. Elle fait partie du groupe de musique lo-fi expérimental Berge&Bouffard, qui sort son premier EP, ciel orouge, en 2023. Ses poèmes sont publiés sur le blog féministe Filles Missiles dirigé par Daphné B., Sarah Hébert et Marie Darsigny. Elle est l’autrice de trois zines, alliant poésie, photographies, dessins et notes : Hypervigilance (2019), Rue Prince (2023) et Commémoration (2023). Élisabeth Berge travaille présentement à une exposition avec le Club de photos dont elle fait partie, le 3e Oeil, portant sur l’inéluctable et épeurante dégradation des choses - son quartier, ses photos, elle-même, écorchées par le temps.

Élisabeth Berge develops her creative universe between the unceded territories of the city of Montreal, the Lanaudière region and that of the Eastern Townships, in Quebec. Her recent exhibition Rue Prince at the Jérôme Bertrand Studio, combining film photographs, installation, sketches and texts, reflects his eclectic journey straddling the field of arts, spirituality and education. She obtained a bachelor's degree in theater studies and a microprogram diploma from the 2nd cycle of the education department, focusing on mindfulness, both obtained at the University of Quebec in Montreal, in Montreal. His main creative investigations, carried mainly through voice, writing, drawing and film photography, essentially question anguish ; ephemerality in correlation with the construction of the self. She is part of the experimental lo-fi music group Berge&Bouffard, which released its first EP, ciel orange, in 2023. Her poems are published on the feminist blog Filles Missiles led by Daphné B., Sarah Hébert and Marie Darsigny. She is the author of three zines, combining poetry, photographs, drawings and notes: Hypervigilance (2019), Rue Prince (2023) and Commemoration (2023). Élisabeth Berge is currently working on an exhibition with the Photo Club of which she is a part, Le Club du 3e Oeil, focusing on the inevitable and frightening degradation of things - her neighborhood, her photos, herself, damaged by time.
